PHOTOGRAPHS THAT INSPIRE

This world we live on is so filled with beauty, every area has it's own unique beauty, If only people everywhere could look for the beauty in this world and the beauty in each other and in life, so much negativity could be removed, and how much more better place our world would be to live in. I would love to see every home with beautiful paintings and photographs, good beautiful music, good literature, and surround themselves with uplifting people who bring out the best in each other, and be the kind of person to lift others themselves.
If you would like to purchase photos from this site, you must go to my painting blog. To order more than one, enter the name of each with a coma between them where it says enter name of painting. My painting blog is: http://livingradiance.blogspot.com

JESUS BURIAL SITE

This is the tomb where it is believed that Jesus was buried, in the upper left photo there is a place for three peoples bodies (two shown) In the upper right is a round stone, similar, but smaller than one which could have been rolled in front of the tomb. The gardens are beautiful around this area.

These are real to me now

Is this Egypt or what?

CIARO EGYPT

This was a view from the balcony of my hotel room in Ciaro. I can hardly believe that I was actually in Egypt and Israel just a few days ago looking out my room at the Nile River, and seeing pyramids and toombs of ancient people and places I studied about in school so many years ago.

Camel Ride

In Egypt I rode on a Camel, the scariest part was when the camel knelt down, I thought for sure I would tumble forward off the camel,

but fortunately I stayed on.

ELEPHANT RIDE

In Thailand I rode on the back of an elephant in beautiful green landscape I will never forget.

Thai Princess

When I returned from a trip to Thailand I let my daughter scan a photo I had taken while there dressed in their clothing, and she sent an e-mail with the photo to her siblings and said "Now mom thinks she is a Thai Princess. So here I am an honorary Thai Princess.

Vail Colorado

This scene reminded me so much of a photo I took on a train ride when i hiked up near the Materhorn in Europe many years ago.

ROSES

One of the most extensive Rose Gardens in the US is in Mesa, Arizona at Mesa Community College. I took this photo and many others there.

SUNNY SUNFLOWER

I could do a whole album on my photo's of flowers, if you go to my blog: http://livingradiance.blogspot.com you will see the impact flowers have had on me.

MOUNTAIN AREA OF THAILAND

Atmospheric conditions always appeal to me, they give such a feeling of mistique and wonder, probably more to me because we rarely see fog where I live, in the desert part of Arizona. I took this phot in the mountain area of Thailand.

Northern Arizona Sunset

This desolate area of Arizona has such a simple yet complex beauty about it.

I GIVE UP

When I came upon this scene near my sons home near Pinacle Peak north of Scottsdale Arizona, an image came into my mind of an old cowboy holding up his arms and saying "I give up."

What do you see?

And what do you see in this photo?

SOUTHERN UTAH

I found this spot after hiking in a half mile. It was well worth the early morning hike to find this beautiful, peaceful scene, shortly after a deer had posed for me to get a nice photo of him.

Little Beauty

I captured this photo of this little beauty in Central America after she had performed with older girls, she performed every step and body movement of the older girls as well as they did. I would love to have brought her home with me, she was so cute.

DON'T YOU THINK I'M BEAUTIFUL TOO!

I took this photo in the home of a friend in Texas, capturing this cat in it's natural pose.

Invitation to go hiking

Nature is always so inviting, that is why I have always loved to go hiking. I took this photo in Southern Colorado

Iowa scene

I took this photo when I visited my daughter in Iowa, every area of the country has its own unique natural beauty.
EVERY INSECT AND CREATURE HAS IT'S PURPOSE AND IT'S OWN BEAUTY, ALL HAVE SOMETHING TO CONTRIBUTE.

OUT OF THE DARKNESS INTO THE LIGHT

I like the feeling of mystery of this photo, where does it lead, out of the shadows into the light, this can have multiple meanings, different for every person.

SEEDPODS AGAINST BLOOMING PALAVERDE

These are such interesting seed pods against the backdrop of a flowering Palaverde tree. They create such an opposition in color, texture, size, etc.

MAROON AND GREEN

I love these two colors together, how nice of nature to combine them so beautifully for me. Then I can share them with you

This phot that I took has such a magical appearance, it is one of my favorite photos. I had never seen a cactus with blooms like this before so it really fascinated me when I saw it.

ON THE (PRICKLEY) HOT SEAT

This silhoutte of this bird on cacti against the clouded Arizona sky is such a contrast. Arizona skys are not often clouded over, and even when they are, rain is rare.

A PLACE TO MEDITATE

What an inviting place to sit and meditate. I took this photo as well as several of the other desert photos at Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona.

Seed Pods

Seed pods have always fascinated me, wherever I travel I always find unique dried seed pods which I add to my collection. These seed pods are not yet dried.

Cactus blossoms

Such beautiful blossoms on such prickley pads of cactus. Such protection for these flowers.

PINK FLOWERS OF THE DESERT

The many kinds and colors of plants and flowers seem endless. Each brings it's own beauy and individuality.

Columbine

There is opposition in all things, an important part of our lives, we wouldn't enjoy beauty if there were not ugly, good health if no pain and suffering etc. I love the opposites in the color here of the dainty yellow columbine flowers and the lavader in the groundcover.

ALOE VERA PLANTS

Aloe vera plants have such beautifully colored blooms, such a contrast to their prickley leaves.

Arizona cacti

What a contrast the Arizona Desert where I live is to the Alaska vegetation.

Alaska Scene

Fall time in Alaska is nearing the end of the longer hours of daylight, when the vegetation grows so quickly. The colors are starting to chang and create a different view of so recent bright greens. Every season brings a different beauty.

Alaska Sunset

My greatest joy as I travel is to capture a moment in time and be able to revisit it through my photography. I love to share it with others. I never quit marveling at the beauty of this earth we live in and all the creations on it, for there to be such design in everything from the minutest cells to the emensity of space, I know if there is such precision in design, there has to be a designer, and that is God. Oh how I love his creations.
